FAQ

What is the cancellation policy?

Flexible cancellation – simply cancel before the next renewal date and you will not be charged again.

For example, if you moved in on the 5th January, you will be charged on the 5th of every month. If you decide on the 25th July you would like to move out, simply let us know and you will not be charged again, providing you return the padlock to the site office, your move out date will be the 4th August.

Yes, we have ensured there is adequate space for drive up access with cars and large vans to all the containers. All of our surfaces on site are concrete. Our driveways are wide enough for vehicles to pass each other, so there is no waiting for someone to move when you want to leave.

All our containers are on the ground floor for easy access (no stairs or steps).

The rent is payable monthly (not 4-weekly like some other sites), on the date that you move in. So if you move in on to 18th of a month, then the rent is payable upfront, with your next rent payable on the 18th of the following month.

You can store almost anything, including furniture, electronics, clothing, documents, vehicles, and more, as long as it’s legal and not hazardous or combustible.

Unfortunately we do not permit storage of motor bikes or quad bikes (or other off-road type vehicles).

A full list of non-permitted goods is available, please contact the office.

We offer either 10ft or 20ft containers. Please visit the size guide page for full measurements.

Our site is covered by CCTV cameras, access control, a 2m high security palisade fence and rapid response security guards by Aggressive Perimeter Security to ensure the safety of your belongings. We also provide high security padlocks from renowned Sheffield locksmiths H Harolds & Sons for use whilst you are a customer.

Access hours are between 7.00am and 7.00pm 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Access outside of these hours can be agreed in advance in extenuating circumstances.

It is your responsibility to ensure your items are adequately insured.

You can grant access to others if needed, but you are typically the primary person responsible for the unit and its contents.

Yes, providing there are alternative options available on site, you can upgrade or downgrade as often as you need.

Payment is taken through Stripe using your bank card. It is taken by Continuous Card Payment, this is very similar to a Standing Order. If you would like to change your payment card please visit us at the site office.

If you require a VAT invoice please let us know and we will happily provide them.

Either a passport or driving licence will be sufficient to complete the agreement.  As part of the sign up process, there is an agreement (licence) to sign and you will upload your ID to the online platform to complete this. You will also need to bring this to the site office on the day you collect the keys.

Yes.

We provide free (whilst you are a customer) high security padlocks that are designed for containers. These locks have an anti-pick and anti-drill keyway as well as an anti-saw shackle. The padlocks must be handed back to us at the end of your rental agreement with both keys to avoid a charge.

We do not keep a key for your padlock. If the keys are lost a lock smith fee will be incurred.
